Second Lesson
Hebrews 7:23-28
The former priests were many in number, because they were prevented by death from continuing in office; but Jesus holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, he has no need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for those of the people; this he did once for all when he offered himself. For the law appoints as high priests those who are subject to weakness, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

The Nicene Creed (all standing)
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,

Our Church Nursery is open. We will once again open our childcare for children 1 – 3 years old in the 1st floor of Tucker Hall. (the church/school office building), please enter through back door. Children can be registered each Sunday and parents will be texted if needed. Children can be received from 9:45am and will be available for pickup immediately after Sunday Eucharist. Invitation to Godly Play Children’s Ministry
Children in Pre K – 5th grade are invited to participate in our Godly Play Children’s Ministry. The Children will be called forth with their Sunday School Ministers at the beginning of Sunday Eucharist. They will be led out of the church to their classroom and return before communion. This ministry is designed to help the children encounter the stories of the Bible in an active, inviting and powerful way. We are delighted that this ministry is offered to our children; please pray for its success!
The Lunch Bunch
This Tuesday we invite you to gather with Fr. Jim for a fun lunch in the Parish Hall at 12 noon. This Tuesday we will serve beef stew, salad, and French bread. Plates are $7 and all proceeds support our school.
